Kat

Kat is a senior Lecturer at Birkbeck College. Trained as historian, she is a researcher, writer and educator with interests in communities, nature, landscape, and the past.

She works on a range of projects from the history of bothies to religious migration. She’s always loved writing, reading, and learning, and has an eclectic range of interests, but it’s being in the natural world which has always kept her sane.

When not in a library, she volunteers with local wildlife and environmental organisations.

Ben

Ben is a communications professional based in beautiful British Columbia. His background is also in history

Professionally he has worked in higher education communicating a huge range of academic research for non academic audiences.

He has also volunteered extensively for conservation organisations and likes to spend his spare time birding and wildlife watching.
